Mary-Butler Ravneberg, MA

Mary-Butler Ravneberg is the director of faculty analytics for the Office of Institutional Research and Planning. In her position, she primarily supports the Office of Faculty Affairs and the need for faculty data across all campuses. She also brings human resources data expertise to the office and helps support HR data projects for campus stakeholders. 

Mary-Butler started at Ohio State in 2006 as a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program and remained as a residence hall director after graduating with an MA degree. She started working with data as an employee of the Graduate School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010 and returned to Ohio State in 2016 as a member of the analytics team in Human Resources. Mary-Butler joined IRP in 2024 with the creation of the director of faculty analytics position.
